Fused magnesia spinel is made from high purity caustic calcined magnesia powder and alumina powder.
Processing
Smelted by a large high-temperature electric arc furnace, classify into different grain sizes.
Applications
1)Our fused spinel series including magnesia-rich spinel, common spinel and alumina-rich spinel, used for corundum spinel castable in steel ladle, porous plug, nozzle, furnace lid and other parts
2)The top of steel-making electric furnace, converter , ladle, large cement rotary kiln firing zone, transition area and glass regenerator which requires slag resistance, wear resistance and high refractoriness.
3)The alumina-rich spinel, with good alkaline resistance and good penetration resistance, is mainly used for high-performance alumina spinel castable, and the demanding parts that RH spinel brick instead of magnesia-chrome brick.
